Mastering Meals is excited to announce that we are now offering catering, starting with finger foods and appetizers along with some prepared meals! Mastering Meals will do all the work, deliver to your home (or office) so you don't have to spend time in the kitchen when your guests arrive. 

This is perfect for book club, game night, cocktail parties or even a holiday if you want to focus on the main course, let us deliver the delicious appetizers.  Each appetizer will come with simple detailed instructions on how to warm up or assemble, your kitchen will stay clean, all the hard work is done for you.  Each prepared meal will come with reheating instructions.

CATERING MENU

Artichoke Cheddar Bites            (30 bites for $38)                                             

These delicious bites made with artichoke hearts, cheddar cheese and onions are perfect hot or room temp. All you have to do is warm them in the oven, put them on a plate and enjoy.   

​

Whipped Feta & Marinated Tomato Crostini                        (25 crostini for $55)               

These crostini have a wonderful tang from the whipped feta mixture and are then topped with delicious marinated tomatoes. You will be given the toasted crostini, the whipped feta mixture and the marinated tomatoes and you just need to assemble when you are ready to serve.

Homemade Whipped Ricotta & Lemon Crostini                           (25 crostini for $55)

Homemade ricotta cheese is whipped and blended with lemon zest and put on top of a perfectly toasted crostini and drizzled with honey and topped with toasted walnuts.  You will be given the crostini, the ricotta mixture, honey and toasted walnuts. You just need to assemble when you are ready to serve.

Homemade Ricotta & Roasted Tomato Crostini                      (25 crostini for $60)

Homemade ricotta cheese is topped with oven roasted garlic tomatoes and topped with fresh Genovese basil.  You will be given the crostini and the delicious tomato topping, all you need to do is warm up the topping and assemble when you are ready to serve.

Mushroom & Whipped Goat Cheese Crostini

A mixture of oyster, shiitake and portobello mushrooms are sautéed with shallots, garlic and sherry to create an amazing earthy topping.  You just need to spread the goat cheese on the crostini, warm up the mushroom mixture and place a spoonful on top of the whipped goat cheese.

Vegan Cannellini Bean Cucumber Bites                                   (20 bites for $25)

This creamy vegan spread is made by combining cannellini beans with fresh herbs, lemon juice, EVOO....  This flavorful smooth mixture will be given to you in a zip top bag and all you have to do is snip the corner and squeeze a dollop on top of each prepared cucumber disk.

Spicy Carb Free Jalapeño Crackers

Pepper Jack cheese is used to create these carb free jalapeño crackers. They are so flavorful, they are perfect alone but can also be paired with a dip of your choice (for an additional fee)

Mozzarella Tomato Basil Skewers

Fresh mozzarella balls are skewered with grape tomatoes and fresh Genovese basil and drizzled with a balsamic reduction. Just take them out of the fridge and top with the balsamic reduction when you are ready to serve.

​

Spiced Pecans                 (1lb pecans for $25)

Pecans are tossed with whipped egg whites, sugar, cinnamon, cloves... and baked to perfection. These are seriously addicting!  Just put in a bowl and enjoy! These are also great in a salad and perfect with a cocktail.

​

Cinnamon Chocolate Fudge

Ghirardelli 60%  cacao chocolate is used to create this creamy decadent fudge with a touch of cinnamon and topped with sea salt, for the perfect sweet and salty bite.

​

Edible S'mores Shot Glasses         ($2.50 per glass)

These chocolate shot glasses can be topped with whatever you like (s'mores, crushed up candy canes, sprinkles, red hots...) the ideas are endless!! You can fill them with alcohol or milk (for the kids) and use them as a shot glass or you can fill them with pudding, mousse, whipped cream, ice cream and serve as a dessert.

PREPARED MEALS

​

Italian Wedding Soup            ($20 per quart)

This soup has carrots, celery, onions, baby spinach and delicious mini chicken meatballs all in a homemade chicken stock with fresh dill and a touch of white wine. The meatballs are made by combining ground chicken, chicken sausage, fresh garlic, Parmigiano Reggiano, Pecorino Romano, fresh parsley, a touch of milk, egg and fresh bread crumbs. They are then baked in the oven and added to the soup.  The soup is served with a side of cooked ditalini pasta (so it doesn't get mushy sitting in the soup) for you to add when you serve.

​

Beef or Turkey Chili                ($16 per quart)

Ground Beef or Turkey (you decide) is cooked with onions, green pepper, fresh garlic, diced tomatos, tomato paste, homemade beef stock, red kidney beans and two different types of chili powder. The chili is slow simmered for hours to develop all the flavors. If you like spicy, just let me know and I will add some diced jalapeño peppers.

Italian Sausage and Fennel in a Tomato Cream Sauce

Fresh fennel, onion, Italian sausage (hot or sweet, you decide) and garlic is sauteed and mixed with white wine, tomato paste and heavy cream to create a delicious sauce. Just warm up, toss with your favorite pasta and top with some Parmesan cheese (optional) and you have an easy and impressive dinner.

Roasted Vegetable Orzo Salad        ($18 per quart)

This salad is delicious cold, hot or room temp. and is a perfect side dish chicken, fish or steak. Peppers,red onion and zucchini are tossed with olive and garlic and roasted in the oven.  They are then mixed with cooked orzo and a homemade lemon vinaigrette. It is finished off with sliced scallions and your choice of feta or goat cheese. 

To make this a meal, I can add diced up marinated chicken breast for an additional $4

Roasted Shrimp Orzo Salad          ($22 per quart)

Jumbo shrimp are roasted and tossed with cooked orzo, cucumber, feta, red onion, lots of fresh dill, scallions and a homemade lemon vinaigrette.  Perfect cold, room temp or hot, as a side or a meal.  Makes a perfect lunch if entertaining and its great on a buffet table. Delicious and beautiful.
